Prague airport transfer to your hotel — the price you know before you book
Landed in Prague and want to go straight to your hotel, apartment or house? Book a private transfer from Václav Havel Airport (PRG). Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name board, helps with the luggage and takes you to the address you gave. The car is yours alone — you never share the ride with other passengers.
A saloon or estate starts at £27, a minivan at £34 for the whole car. The base price covers a journey of up to 20.8 km. For addresses further out, the calculator takes the length of the route and the rate of the chosen car into account; the fare never falls below the minimum price. It is the road distance to a specific address that sets the price, not the name of the district. You see the amount before you confirm the booking.
We drive both directions: from the airport to the centre of Prague and from your hotel back to the airport. Choose the pick-up point and the destination in the form above. You can add the return journey straight away.
Price per vehicle, not per person
| Vehicle | Passengers | Up to 20.8 km | Price for a longer route |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saloon / estate | 1–4 people | from £27 | about £1.45/km |
| Minivan | 1–7 people | from £34 | about £1.73/km |
The final price depends on the route you enter and the options you choose. You can check the currency and the amount in the booking summary. See the full transfer price list.
From the airport to the centre of Prague without changing
The journey into the centre usually takes about 25–35 minutes; at peak times allow longer. The driver takes you to the address you gave, so you are not looking for a stop or changing vehicles with your suitcases.
Public transport is a good answer if low cost is what matters most. A private transfer suits you when you travel with children, with a lot of luggage, or when you want to get straight into a car after landing. This is not a bus or a shared shuttle stopping at several hotels.
What the transfer price includes
- Meet and greet with a name board in the arrivals hall.
- Flight tracking and the pick-up adjusted to the actual landing time.
- 60 minutes of waiting after arrival included in the transfer fare. A delay of that same flight does not count as extra waiting time after landing.
- Child seats and boosters at no extra charge — tell us the children's ages when you book.
- Standard luggage and help with loading, plus road tolls and parking connected with the agreed journey.
- Transfer to the address you gave, within local access rules.
If you need a longer wait or an extra stop, agree it in advance. Check the rules for payments and changes to bookings.
How to book the journey
Choose the pick-up point and the destination address, the date and the time. For a pick-up from the airport, enter your flight number. Then pick a saloon or a minivan and check the price. Fill in your contact details, look over the summary and confirm the booking.
After you land, the driver contacts you by WhatsApp or SMS. Keep your phone switched on so you get the meeting-point details. The booking confirmation arrives by email.

Transfer from your hotel to Prague airport
Heading home? Put the hotel with its address in the "Pick-up point" field and choose the airport as the destination. The date and time then refer to the pick-up from the hotel, not to the departure time of your plane.
Allow time for the journey, for possible traffic and for the check-in time your airline recommends. For very early departures you can book a pick-up during the night. If the hotel has several entrances, say where to meet you in the notes.
Saloon or minivan?
A saloon or estate takes up to four passengers and usually two or three large suitcases. It is a good choice for a couple or a small family.
A minivan is built for up to seven passengers. If you are carrying a pushchair, sports equipment or unusually large luggage, tell us the number and the size in advance so we can send the right car.
The price is for the vehicle. For a larger group we can agree on several cars. See minivan transfer for groups and travelling with children and child seats.
Transfer straight to your hotel
Many hotels in Prague have similar names. Give the full name and the street: Hilton Prague on Pobřežní and Hilton Prague Old Town on V Celnici are two different addresses.
We have also prepared directions for Prague Marriott and many other hotels. On the page for the hotel you choose you will find how the pick-up works, the approximate route and a link to the calculator.
Night arrival or a delayed flight
We drive around the clock. A pick-up after a night arrival is booked the same way as a daytime one: enter the route, the date and the time, and see the price before you confirm.
Give the correct flight number. That lets the driver check the actual landing time and the right terminal. A delay of that same flight does not mean the transfer is cancelled. If the flight is cancelled or replaced by another connection, get in touch with us.
Where we drive in Prague
We serve the Old Town, the Lesser Town, the New Town, Karlín, Smíchov, Vinohrady, Dejvice and other districts. We also drive to the Florenc coach station.
Not every street in the same district is the same distance from the airport. Instead of assuming one price for a whole district, enter the exact address in the calculator. You will get a quote for your own route.
Journeys outside Prague
From the airport you can go straight on to another town without stopping in the centre. Popular destinations are Karlovy Vary, Plzeň, Český Krumlov and Brno.
We also cover routes to Vienna, Dresden and Wrocław. You can check the amount for a specific address in the form.
Guide prices for longer routes
The prices below are for a one-way journey to the towns listed. You can confirm the exact address and any extras in the calculator.
| Destination from PRG airport | Road distance | Saloon | Minivan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Karlovy Vary | 121.8 km | £177 | £210 |
| Plzeň | 86.7 km | £126 | £150 |
| Český Krumlov | 193.7 km | £281 | £334 |
| Brno | 228.6 km | £332 | £395 |
| Špindlerův Mlýn | 158.2 km | £229 | £273 |
| Vienna | 354.5 km | £514 | £612 |
| Dresden | 153.5 km | £223 | £265 |
Journey time depends on traffic and on the exact address. Check the pricing rules.
Corporate transport and conferences
We collect company guests from the airport, carry conference delegates and handle repeat transfers. For larger numbers we agree how many cars are needed and at what times.
Give your invoicing details when you book. Terms for regular cooperation and methods of payment are agreed individually. Read about corporate transport in Prague.
Day trips from Prague with a driver
Want to see more during your stay? You can plan a private trip to Karlštejn Castle, Kutná Hora, Karlovy Vary or Český Krumlov.
A trip with waiting and a return journey is priced differently from a single transfer. Before you book, check the whole programme, the waiting time and the final amount. Choose a trip or read the guide to trips with a driver.
Payment and confirmation
The available payment methods are shown during booking. You can pay online by card, or in cash to the driver. Before you confirm, check the currency, the amount, the route and the date of the journey.
You receive a document for the journey and we can issue an invoice for a company. The rules for cancellation and changes are set out in the terms and conditions and in the guide to payments and cancellations.
Luggage, pushchairs and travelling with animals
Standard suitcases are included in the price. Tell us when you book about a pushchair, skis, a bicycle in a bag or other large items — the number of passenger seats does not mean unlimited luggage space.
Travelling with an animal or carrying a wheelchair must be agreed in advance. Give the dimensions of the equipment and any special needs so we can confirm the right car. Get in touch about a special journey.
Who carries out the journey
Prague Sedan & Minivan Transfers is an independent private passenger transport service. We are not an operator of Prague Airport and we are not connected with it. Company details and the rules for providing the service are in the legal information.
We stand on a prepared car, an agreed price and a pick-up at the place arranged. The details of the service are described on the page why travel with us.
The questions people ask before booking
Is the price per person?
No. It is the price for the car. The capacity of the car covers that number of passengers without multiplying the fare.
Can I book the return journey at the same time?
Yes. Add the return journey and check both dates and times in the summary.
What if I cannot see the driver?
Check your WhatsApp or SMS message. If you need to, call +420 776 508 777.
When is it best to book?
In advance, especially in season and with a larger group. You can check availability for a particular time in the form.
More answers about pick-ups and booking.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Nothing to worry about. We track your flight's real landing time and move the pick-up automatically, at no extra charge.
Where exactly does the driver wait?
In the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name. You don't need to call or look for a car park.
How long does the ride to the city centre take?
Usually 25 to 35 minutes. In heavy traffic it can be longer, but the price does not change.
Do child seats cost extra?
No. Child seats and boosters are free — just give the children's ages in the booking.
