Why We Disabled Comments

Under the articles on this website, there used to be an option to comment. We have disabled it and want to explain why directly.

The discussion was not used by people, but by robots. Batches of automatic posts with links to questionable and harmful sites were coming in. The text was usually short and innocent, so it looked like a normal reaction, but the only purpose was to get a foreign link on our website. There were also posts that tried to pass as a message from us.

None of these posts made it to the website. They all waited for approval, and we deleted them. Nevertheless, we decided to disable comments completely, on all our language websites.

The reason is simple. If just one such link accidentally passed through, it would jeopardize two things: the safety of people who click on it and the credibility of the website through which you order. Neither is worth a discussion under the article that nobody used.
