Every journey has a contract of carriage
Every ride has a transport contract
With us, transport booked in advance is governed by Section 21(5) of Act No. 111/1994 Sb. on road transport. For every journey we conclude a written contract of carriage before it begins. This is not a formality — it is protection for both you and us. Thanks to this contract you know exactly who is driving you, at what price and under what conditions.
Pre-booked transport with us is governed by § 21(5) of Czech Act No. 111/1994 Coll. on road transport. We conclude a written transport contract before each ride begins. It’s not a formality — it’s protection for you and for us. Thanks to this contract you know exactly who is driving you, at what price, and under what terms.
“The fulfilment of the obligations under paragraph 4 is not required where the transport is provided on the basis of a written contract concluded before the commencement of the transport, which contains: 1. the identification details of the contracting parties, namely the forename, where applicable forenames, and surname, the business name or designation, the address of residence or registered office and the date of birth or identification number of the carrier and of the customer of the transport, 2. the unambiguous specification of the transport by stating the name (…) and details of the date, time and route of the transport, 3. the price of the transport or the method of its determination (…)”
Translation: Under Czech law, a pre-arranged ride must be based on a written contract concluded before the journey, containing the identification details of both parties (name, address, and date of birth or business ID), a clear definition of the ride, and the price.
⭐ Why we ask you for your date of birth
⭐ Why we ask for your date of birth
You may be surprised that, when booking, we ask for your date of birth and address. This is not needless bother — it is a legal requirement. For the contract of carriage under Section 21 of Act No. 111/1994 Sb. to be valid, it must contain the customer’s identification details, which include precisely the date of birth (or the IČO if you are ordering as a company) and the address.
You may be surprised that our booking form asks for your date of birth and address. This is not unnecessary bureaucracy — it is a legal requirement. For a transport contract under § 21 of Czech Act No. 111/1994 Coll. to be valid, it must contain the customer’s identification details, including the date of birth (or business ID, if you book as a company) and address.
In other words: without these details the contract would not be legally valid. We ask for them so that we can transport you legally and so that you hold a genuinely valid document. We process your data solely for this purpose and protect it in accordance with the GDPR.

Liability insurance
Liability insurance
The transport is covered by the carrier’s liability insurance. The vehicles also satisfy the statutory motor third-party liability insurance, whose minimum limits are set by Act No. 30/2024 Sb. You travel with the assurance that, in the event of an unforeseen incident, you are taken care of.

Child seats and child safety
Child seats & child safety
Under Section 6 of Act No. 361/2000 Sb., a child under 36 kg and 150 cm must be carried in a child seat. An exemption applies to taxi-service transport within a municipality, but we offer child seats nonetheless — including for longer routes outside the town, where their use is compulsory. Simply let us know the child’s age and height when booking.

Taxi services have an exemption within city limits, but we provide child seats regardless — including longer trips outside the city, where they are mandatory. How we select our drivers
How we select our drivers
The journey is carried out either directly by the operator or by a vetted partner carrier. Each partner must hold their own valid licence, insurance and good standing (reliability under Section 9 of the Road Transport Act). We personally verify and record all documents. The vehicle, its licence and the driver always match — exactly as the law requires.
