Arriving at night or early in the morning: how the transfer works and what happens if your flight is delayed

Late-night flights from London, early-morning arrivals from Dubai, a delayed connection from Milan – these are the exact situations where it pays to have your transport sorted instead of looking for a ride into town at three in the morning. Here is how it works with us.

We operate 24 hours a day, the price remains the same

You can book an airport transfer for any hour – even for 2:40 at night or 5:15 in the morning. The price is the same as during the day: across Prague and up to 20 km from the airport, a sedan starts from 790 CZK, a minivan from 990 CZK. No night surcharge, no taximeter.

We handle flight delays, so you do not have to

You enter your flight number when booking, and your driver monitors it from that moment on. They do not set off based on the scheduled ticket time, but according to the actual landing time. If the plane is delayed by an hour, the driver arrives an hour later and waits – at no extra charge. You do not need to call or text anyone. We never leave a customer behind at the airport.

How night pickups work

1. After landing, you will receive a WhatsApp message or SMS from the driver confirming they are on site and where they are waiting.
2. You collect your luggage and send the driver a quick update.
3. In the arrivals hall, a sign with your name will be waiting for you. At night, the hall is quieter, so you will spot the driver right away.
4. They will help you with your luggage and drive you straight to your hotel or address.

Prague at night has no traffic – getting from the airport to the city centre usually takes around half an hour.

Early morning departures from Prague

It works exactly the same in the opposite direction. You book a pickup for 3:30, for instance, from your hotel, the driver arrives promptly on time, and drops you off at the correct terminal at the airport. We recommend being at the airport at least two hours before departure – the driver can help you plan when to leave.

What to do if your flight changes significantly

Flight cancelled or rescheduled to another day? Email us at info@prg-airport.cz or message us on WhatsApp. Cancellation is free of charge up to one day before the ride; time or date changes are handled individually. You do not need to worry about standard delays to the same flight – we monitor those ourselves.

Tips for a smooth arrival

• Enter your flight number correctly – it allows the driver to identify the terminal (Schengen = T2, non-Schengen = T1) and the actual landing time.
• Keep your phone switched on with mobile data or Wi-Fi active after landing so you receive the driver’s message.
• Do not respond to people shouting “Taxi?” in the hall – our driver stands with a name sign and will contact you directly.
