Taxi to Prague Airport from your hotel
Book your ride to Václav Havel Airport for an exact time. The driver picks you up at your hotel or apartment, loads the luggage and drops you right outside departures. From central Prague it costs £27 in a saloon or £34 in a minivan for the whole car, the same by day or night.
Getting to the airport is different from arriving. You have a check-in deadline, and the one thing you can’t afford is a taxi that doesn’t turn up. Booking the day before means you know who is coming, what it costs and that the car will be outside at 4 a.m. if that’s when you need it.
Price from your area of Prague to the airport
Fixed price per car, not per person. Up to about 20 km from the airport the fare is flat; further out it is charged by distance. The booking form shows the exact price for your address before you confirm.
When to leave for the airport
From the centre the drive usually takes 25 to 35 minutes outside rush hour. Allow extra time at peak times: Prague Airport itself warns of delays because of roadworks at the Aviatická junction. Tell us your departure time in the booking notes and we’ll suggest a pickup time.
- Flights to the UK and Ireland leave from Terminal 1 (outside Schengen), as do flights to the USA, Turkey and the Middle East.
- Flights within Schengen (Germany, France, Spain, Italy and most of the EU) leave from Terminal 2.
- Early-morning flights. We run 24/7 and charge the same at night, so a 3:30 a.m. pickup is no problem.
How it works
- Book the time and address. Enter where we pick you up, when, and how many of you are travelling. Confirmation arrives by email.
- The driver arrives at your door. On time, helps with the cases, and child seats are fitted if you asked for them.
- Drop-off at departures. We stop outside the right terminal; you take your bags and go straight to check-in.

How much is a taxi from central Prague to the airport?
From the centre a ride to the airport costs £27 in a saloon for 1–4 people or £34 in a minivan for 1–7, for the whole car. The price does not change at night.
How far ahead should I book?
Ideally a day or two before your flight. We try to cover short-notice requests too, but for early-morning departures it’s better not to leave it to the last minute.
Which terminal does my flight leave from?
Schengen flights depart from Terminal 2 and non-Schengen flights, including the UK, from Terminal 1. It is also on your boarding pass. If you’re unsure, write your destination in the booking notes.
Can you collect us from our hotel?
Yes, from the reception of any hotel in Prague or outside the city. Just give the hotel name or the address when booking.
Can I pay in cash?
Yes, the driver accepts cash. You can also pay by card in the car or online when booking. Cancelling the day before is free.
