Parkland golf by the Elbe
Founded in 1961, Golf Club Poděbrady is one of the Czech Republic’s classic courses. This 18-hole championship layout sits in a floodplain forest right beside the Elbe River, on the edge of the spa town Poděbrady.
It’s a true parkland course with no major elevation changes — which makes accuracy all the more important. Mature trees and, above all, numerous water hazards demand a thoughtful game. The club also offers a practice area with covered and open-air bays, a putting green, and a chipping green.
From Prague it’s about 55 kilometres and roughly 50 minutes by car. With a private driver you’ll arrive relaxed and on time for your tee time, and you can easily combine your round with a stroll along Poděbrady’s colonnade or lunch by the château.
