Golf beneath Karlštejn
Golf Resort Karlštejn lies near the village of Liteň, just a stone's throw from the famous castle. The first 18 holes opened in 1993, and the course quickly earned a spot among the most prestigious in the Czech Republic — it has even hosted European Tour events.
The championship course is set in rolling countryside with views of Karlštejn Castle and the Berounka Valley. A third nine was added in 2008, so today it offers 27 holes of varying difficulty. Challenging holes alternate with scenic vistas, and the well-kept greens are among the best in the country.
From Prague it's about 30 kilometers by car, taking roughly 40 minutes. With a private driver, you'll arrive right on time for your tee time, your clubs comfortably stowed in the car, and after a demanding round the same car will take you back.
